During its annual rate-setting process, the Pioneer Community Energy (Pioneer) Board set its 2019-2020 electric generation rates at 11% below PG&E’s generation rates. The new rates take effect November 1, 2019 and are even more competitive to PG&E’ electric generation than the rates Pioneer first set in 2018.

Pioneer maintains its commitment to competitive rates and operational excellence through prudent energy procurement and a focus on efficiency and cost controls. The new discount means the typical residential customer using 700 KWh will save approximately $8.89 each month.
