RFO – Long-term, Portfolio Content Category 1-Eligible Renewable Energy

Pioneer Community Energy (“Pioneer”), the Community Choice Aggregation program serving customers in Placer County, is requesting offers for long-term, Portfolio Content Category 1-eligible renewable energy to meet a portion of its future Renewables Portfolio Standard requirements. The  materials linked below provide additional detail related to Pioneer’s Request for Offers (“RFO”). Interested and qualified suppliers of PCC1-eligible products are encouraged to carefully review the RFO materials below and, consistent with applicable instructions and bid requirements, submit timely and complete responses addressing Pioneer’s specified PCC1 needs from new or existing renewable generating resources. General instructions for participating in Pioneer’s RFO are described within the attached Procedural Overview & Instructions document (with specific requirements and timelines for related responses outlined in Appendix A). As described in this attachment, all responses must be received by Pioneer no later than 5:00 P.M. Pacific Prevailing Time on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Should you happen to have any questions regarding this RFO, Pioneer will be accepting such questions via email at RFOresponses@pioneercommunityenergy.ca.gov no later than 5:00 P.M. Pacific Prevailing Time on Monday, February 18, 2019. Additional information regarding the intended schedule as well as other pertinent information, including Pioneer’s preferred form of Power Purchase Agreement, can be found amongst the documents below.
